The E3 2018 conference just ended and a torrent of game play trailers were released. Some were from long standing franchises like Mario and Devil May Cry, while others highly anticipated new games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding.
Microsoft Xbox fans are geared and ready for the release of their favorite games. Here, we’ll give you a rundown of some of them.
Master Chief is back in Halo’s new installment, Halo Infinite. It picks up after Halo 5: Guardian, with a new engine called Slipspace, and a whole new crew.
Whenever Take Me Home, Country Road plays, something sinister is about to happen, it seems.
For Fallout 76, it is going to introduce players into a multiplayer environment. Players can team up with others to build a settlement, fend for food and shelter, and defend their territory. Everything about this game is bigger in terms of features like the map and scenery.
Kingdom Hearts 3:
Kingdom Hearts is probably one of the most popular games you can play with the Xbox. This time, it has characters from Frozen added with Pirates of the Caribbean and Final Fantasy universes. Sora comes back with Donald and Goofy, but this time you can choose two more characters with you for a five-player party.
This franchise has always been known for its cinematography and story. But more than that, Kingdom Hearts has the most breathtaking soundtracks ever played in games.
Ori and the Will of the Wisps:
The sequel for Ori and the Blind Forest. It is a narrative driven game which follows a white guardian spirit named Ori, where you will be exploring the world beyond Nibel. There will be a new feature called ‘soul links’ which will allow players to save their progress at will, and at the same time have the ability to upgrade Ori’s skills.
We Happy Few:
We Happy Few happens in an alternate version of World War II. Germany started a second empire and was able to conquer Great Britain. As a result of the occupation, Britain experimented with chemicals for the war, but it all went haywire which forced the fictional city of Wellington Wells to do something they completely regret.
To forget about their actions and guilt, they invented a new drug called “Joy” which suppresses all unhappy memories. Think George Orwell’s 1984 with this one, since the drug makes the population easily manipulated and inhibits their moral compass.
Devil May Cry 5:
This a franchise that people will surely play regardless of the reviews (but it’s not like it has disappointed anyone yet).
The fifth installment of Devil May Cry brings back Dante and Nero, along with a third playable character. Just like with the previous incarnations, you will be killing hordes of demons using awesome weapons and be stylish with it. In this game, Nero will be equipped with the Blue Rose double-barrel revolver, the Red Queen sword, and a multifunctional robotic arm.
If you haven’t got one yet, don’t let yourself miss out on all of these games. Get an Xbox at Harvey Norman now and make sure to grab these games as they come.
